MT. JULIET – Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning, April 29 at the Bond Memorial Chapel for Mr. Fusting, 69, of Smyrna. A veteran of the US Army and a member of St. Patrick Anglican Church, he died April 26, 2008. Known as “Dick” to his family and friends, Mr. Fusting was a member of Sam Davis Lodge #661 F&AM and a Shriner. Funeral services were conducted by Father Ray Kash. Interment with military honors followed at Roselawn Memorial Park. Survivors include: wife Faye Fusting; sons Mike (Jennifer) Fusting and Larry (Susie) Fusting; step-children Velda Spain, Rhonda (Dennis) Sanders and Jeff Marsh. Also surviving are siblings: Don (Sylvia) Fusting and Patsy (Lenny) Cotter; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers included Donnie Fusting, Bobby Murphy, Jeff Marsh, Dennis Sanders, Zachery Sanders and Christopher Sanders. Mr. Fusting was the son of the late Richard W. Fusting, Sr. and Mary Carroll Fusting. He was also preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Fusting.Memorials may be directed to Alive Hospice. Bond Memorial Chapel, N. Mt. Juliet Road and Weston Drive, Mt. Juliet, was in charge of arrangements. |
