Chapter 1004 of the Vietnam Veterans of America has received so much by giving to those need veterans in our community that when a big gift for us came along, we staggered.

Chapter 1004 of the Vietnam Veterans of America has received so much by giving to those need veterans in our community that when a big gift for us came along, we staggered.

We have been looking for a place to centralize our operations giving us a more unified place for giving assistance to veterans in need. Our weekly breakfast at the Neighborhood Grill gift wrapped a parcel of land with buildings that will allow us to continue our work with and for veterans.

Even though this is a temporary home until we settle somewhere permanently, we were surprised by the generous offer by Jerry and Jimmy Luper of Lebanon who offered us the total use of their Auto Sales property on U.S. Highway 231 South until this property sells.

We will put our labor into our new home in the early spring and start out the New Year with a bang. And so we give the Luper brothers our public, heartfelt thanks. We wish to give them and our community a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
