To the Editor: I don’t know who is on Lebanon High School’s Sports Hall of Fame committee and really don’t care, but they must have been living under a rock or in a cave for the past 45 years for not naming Campbell Brandon to the LHS Hall of Fame. To the Editor: I don’t know who is on Lebanon High School’s Sports Hall of Fame committee and really don’t care, but they must have been living under a rock or in a cave for the past 45 years for not naming Campbell Brandon to the LHS Hall of Fame. Brandon is the man who put LHS girls’ basketball on the map. He won 671 games at LHS and won the state championship in 1971. LHS played seven times for the state championship, won the district, region and sub-state numerous times. The LHS gym is named after him. So come on, Sports Hall of Fame committee, get your head out of the sand, look around and name Campbell Brandon to the LHS Sports Hall of Fame. Brandon is a person who should have been one of the first persons named to the Hall of Fame. I am a Blue Devil fan and always will be.
