To the Editor:

Recently, I was invited to Castle Heights Upper Elementary School to be a part of Read Me Day, along with many other professionals in various fields or careers.

From the very start, as I walked in, I was greeted with clear information as to what classes I would be going into, and also, the length of time, etc. There was also a feast spread out for all to enjoy! And we did!

I want to publicly thank Mr. Terry Trice and his staff for all their hard work. I was so impressed with the school and the faculty. I heard from other visitors many complimentary expressions that day.

A special thanks to Ms. Doretha Wright, who had organized everything, which made my visit so enjoyable and pleasant.

And last, but not least, I want to thank the two classes I went to that day, Ms. Jill Wingo’s and Ms. Kathy Morgan’s classes. Those teachers were so nice and cordial and I can’t say enough about the students in those two classes. They are reflection of some great teachers and parents, or guardians. They were well behaved, and they participated and were such a delight to be with. They made my day special!

We’ve been blessed in our City and our County with so many great schools. I just want everyone to know that Castle Heights Upper Elementary is one of them for sure!
