First up, is the Low Country Boil. This benefit stated years ago over dinner with close friends. They had an idea to raise money for a worthy cause and when one of them had a family member touched by breast cancer - they went into full force.
This year’s event is scheduled for October 2nd in Southfork Subdivision in Lebanon. The event will be from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and there will be food, music, dancing, a silent auction and door prizes. Tickets are $50.00 per person and the proceeds benefit Sherry’s Run and the Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition.
For information about the event go to www.lowcountryboiltn.com or call 449-8594 or 453-7626.
And if you are in the mood to shop until you drop then the 22nd Annual Fall Watertown Mile Long Yard Sale is the place to be!
The event, which draws thousands to historic Watertown each year, will have hundreds of booths on hand selling antiques, flea market finds and collectibles. Food and fun will abound as you walk the streets of this beautiful quaint town.
The yard sale will be held rain or shine and the excursion train will be running that day as well. For more information about the Mile Long Yard sale go to www.watertowntn.com and to hop on to the excursion train contact 244-9001.
And don’t forget, time is running out to sign up for booth space at the 2nd annual Wilson Living Holiday Holiday Expo. The event will be held November 19th and 20th at the Mill in Lebanon.
There will be something for everyone at the Expo including gifts, holiday décor, pottery, embroidery, paintings, jewelry, hand-bags, purses, fashions, books, specialty make-up, cook-ware and holiday treats…to name just a few of the 91 plus booths
