WILSON LIVING TODAY
Lebanon teen, Courtney “Coco” Jones is headed to California this week dreaming of becoming Disney’s “Next Big Thing.” Of course, Courtney, the daughter of Mike and Javonda Jones, has been a “big thing” in Wilson County for years.
Many of you have probably seen her at middle Tennessee festivals and events performing her heart out for her local audiences. But this week Coco and a small group of select performers will be on the Radio Disney’s latest installment of “Next Big Thing.”
The show has launched the careers of several popular artists and Coco is hoping this might be her chance as well. After you listen to Courtney, you’ll surely want to support this talented local girl.
Coco’s two-week showcase period begins this week (November 10-23) right before voting starts on November 24th. Local fans who want to show their support for Coco can vote two ways. You can text “NBT” to Disney at 347639. Just make sure when voting for Coco, you vote ‘5’. This will ensure she gets the top vote from you. Or you can also go to www.radiodisney.com, click on “NBT“, tab and vote for our very own Coco! Until then make sure to visit the site and take a look at this talented Wilson County resident.
And don’t forget to stop by the Holiday Expo on Saturday, November 20th, when Coco will be performing just for our Expo!
Did we say Expo? Well, of course because that is all we’ve been thinking about lately. The Second Annual Holiday Expo is almost here and it’s a sell-out! From gourmet treats, to fabulous fashions, to one-of-a-kind gifts, pottery, paintings, jewelry and collectibles, there is going to be something for everyone at this two day event.
So mark your calendars (November 19th and 20th) , call your girlfriends and make it a special day at the Mill in Lebanon. Shop until you drop, visit Santa and all his elves in Santa’s Wonderland and take a minute to taste some delicious treats by Wildberry Cakes and Catering.
The first 2500 guests will receive a free Tote bag!
Until then, keep reading.
