Dear Ken: I just saw the movie “Julie & Julia,” starring Meryl Steep as Julia Child. Who played Julie? What else has she done?

Red-hot actress Amy Adams, 36, who portrayed Julie Powell, has been quite busy the past 10 years. She has been in such TV shows as “Charmed,” “Smallville,” “The West Wing,” “Dr. Vegas“ and “The Office.” Her movie credits include “Drop Dead Gorgeous,” “Catch Me if You Can,” “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,” “Charlie Wilson’s War,” “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian,” “Doubt,” “Moonlight Serenade” and “Leap Year.”

She will star as rocker Janis Joplin in a 2012 flick, “Get It While You Can.” Born in Italy while her father served in the U.S. military, she grew up in a Mormon family with six siblings in Colorado and once worked at The Gap and Hooters.

Dear Ken: How old is Bill Cosby and how many children does he have? Surely he must be a grandfather by now?
Philly native Cosby, 73, and his wife, Camille, have four daughters and a son, Ennis, who was shot and killed while changing a flat tire in 1997. They have three grandchildren. Among other comments, Cosby has made are: “Don’t worry about senility. When it hits you, you won’t know it,” and “Human beings are the only creatures that allow their children to come home.”

Dear Ken: What happened to Doug McClure, who played Trampas on the TV western “The Virginian”?
The handsome, blonde-headed actor, who was married five times, died in 1995 of lung cancer at 59. Among his movie credits were “The Unforgiven,” “Shenandoah,” “Beau Geste,” “The Land That Time Forgot,” “Warlords of the Deep,” “52 Pick-Up” and “Maverick.”

Dear Ken: Who sang these hits from the 1970s: “The Pina Colada Song” and “Baker Street”?
Rupert Holmes, 63, wrote and performed the 1979 No. 1 hit, “Escape (The Pina Colada Song).” He has since become a Tony Award-winning playwright. “Baker Street” was a No. 2 pop hit for Gerry Rafferty, 63, in 1978. The U.S. version ran four minutes and eight seconds.
