Dear Ken: What are the actors who played Kevin and Winnie on “The Wonder Years” doing today?

Fred Savage, 34, who played Kevin, earned a degree in English from Stanford University and is now married and has two children. He does a lot of voiceover work, most recently in the animated series “Kim Possible” and “Generator Rex.” Next year he will be heard as the voice of Harry Osborn in “Ultimate Spider-Man” on TV. Danica McKellar (Winnie), 35, starred in the 2006-2007 TV series “Inspector Mom” and has been a guest on TV series like “The Big Bang Theory.” She also does voiceover work and is now doing that on “Young Justice.” Since earning a math degree from UCLA, she has written three books: “Math Doesn’t Suck,” “Kiss My Math: Showing Pre-Algebra Who’s Boss” and “Hot X: Algebra Exposed!” She is married and gave birth to her first, child, a son, Draco, in September.

Dear Ken: Where did they film the movie “The Black Stallion”?
The 1979 classic about a boy and a horse who befriend one another on a deserted island was shot in a variety of locations, including the U.S. and Canada, but the island scenes were filmed in Sardinia, Italy. Kelly Reno, who played the boy, grew up on a Colorado ranch and is now 44 and has four children and at last report was a truck driver.

Dear Ken: What’s the scoop on Rachel Ticotin of “Law and Order: Los Angeles”?
Ticotin, 52, has been working in film and TV since 1978. Born in Bronx, N.Y., she trained at a young age for the ballet and made her movie debut as a gypsy dancer in “King of the Gypsies.” Other film credits include “Fort Apache: The Bronx,” “Total Recall,” “ConAir,” “Something’s Gotta Give” and “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” while she starred in the TV series “American Family,“ “Gargoyles,” “Ohara” and “For Love and Honor.” She has a daughter by her first husband, David Caruso, and has been married to actor Peter Strauss the past 12 years.

Dear Ken: My father used to sing to me the lyrics of a silly song called “Mairzy Doats.” What year did that song come out and who recorded it?
Ah, I remember it well: “Mairzy doats and dozy doats and liddle lamzy divey, a kiddley divey too, wouldn’t you?” The novelty song was recorded by a variety of artists but was a No. 1 hit in March 1944 for the Merry Macs. And for the decoding: “Mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy. A kid’ll eat ivy too, wouldn’t you?”
