Longtime employee of the Lebanon Democrat

LEBANON - Funeral services have been scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 16 at the Sellars Funeral Home for Mr. Hamblen, 54, of Lebanon.

A longtime press room employee of the Lebanon Democrat, he died Monday, April 14, 2008.

He was a member of the Upton Heights Methodist Church.

The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the funeral.

Services will be conducted by Brother Danny Sellars with interment in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include mother Mary Agnes Arnold Neal of Lebanon; siblings Patty (Russell) Hamblen of Lebanon, Faye (Jerry) Ogle of Somerville, AL, Bobby (Sandra) Hamblen, and Jackie (Barbara) Arnold of Lebanon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers: staff at Lebanon Democrat.

He is preceded in death by father James Perry Hamblen.
