Noted aviator, business owner

MT. JULIET - Funeral services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12 at the Mt. Juliet Church of Christ for Mr. Cartwright, 64, of Old Hickory.

A loving father and business owner for many years with Cartwright Bros. Construction and Self Storage Properties, Mr. Cartwright died April 7, 2008.

The son of the late Marion Hamilton Cartwright, Sr. and Mary Sue (Brown) Cartwright, he loved airplanes, traveling and constructing church buildings for Churches of Christ domestic and abroad.

Visitation with the family is set for 4-8 p.m. Friday at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet.

Services will be conducted by Brother August Ruff with interment to follow services at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: his wife Susan Cartwright and sons James (Debra) Cartwright and Joseph (Jeannette) Cartwright. Also surviving are six grandchildren and siblings Elizabeth Ann Cartwright, James, Henry and Wallace Cartwright.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Juliet Church of Christ Missionary Fund.
