Members of the Wilson County Black History Committee will kick off a $50,000 fund raising drive for the stabilization of the historic Pickett Chapel at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 13.

The event will be held at the chapel on East Market Street. The building will be open for view but not for tours. Volunteers with the fund raising group will be on hand to accept contributions and pledges.
