An electrical fire shut down the Downtown Office of Liberty State Bank Monday morning around 9 a.m. Employees heard a loud popping sound and saw a quick flash of light and soon began smelling a burning odor. The employees called 911 and exited the building as Lebanon Fire fighters found the fire to be contained in the clock tower on top of the roof of the structure. The bank experienced water damage in the main lobby area and will be closed for the remainder of the week due to safety, clean up and repairs. The drive through should be operational by Tuesday. Branch Manager Debbie Lowe reported the West Main Office is open and can also handle all customer needs at that location.
