Heavy machinery and about 50 construction workers from Plateau Excavation, Inc. of Atlanta, GA, are busy moving earth and getting land off State Route 840 and Central Pike ready for the next phase of building a one million square feet facility for Amazon. The land is expected to be pad-ready in the next 90 days.
