By PATRICK HALL A man was found dead Saturday, July 7, in Lebanon, and authorities are unsure of the cause, but pointed to possible heat or a medical condition. The man’s body was found on the side of the road at 1353 Central Pike at approximately 5 p.m., Saturday, said Wilson County Emergency Management Agency Director John Jewell. Wilson County Sheriff Terry Ashe said no foul play was involved, but noted the man could have either died from the heat or a medical condition as he was working outside. The high this past Saturday was 104 degrees. Ashe said the man had reportedly sat down on the edge of the road near his home and was later discovered by several passers-by. A deputy arrived on the scene shortly thereafter. “He was dead on arrival, but we don’t have a cause of death,” Jewell said.
