UPDATE--Detectives from the Mt. Juliet Police Department recovered Hailey Privette around 12 p.m. in Hermitage.

The department said Hailey is now safe, and the investigation continues into possible criminal charges for the male acquaintance that she was with.

"The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation played a very instrumental role in the safe recovery of Hailey. The TBI staff is top-notch, and are always willing to assist in investigations to ensure Tennessean’s remain safe," said Community Policing Director Sgt. Tyler Chandler.

Hailey Privette was last seen on September 12, 2012 at her home. Hailey is a 13 year-old white female. She has blonde hair and green eyes and is 5’6” tall and weighs 210 lbs. Hailey may be in the company of a 28 year old white male. She may be traveling in a 1985 gold Buick Lesabre Coupe with Indiana tags. She may be in the Hermitage, Tennessee area.
