By SABRINA GARRETT Lebanon Police Chief Scott Bowen said authorities are looking for a man who is believed to be involved in a theft that occurred on Sept. 12. Around 5 p.m. that afternoon, a customer of Fred’s had her wallet stolen from her purse, which was later found in a shopping cart with a large amount of money missing. “We believe this person either took it or knows who took it. We want to talk to them,” Bowen said. Bowen said a surveillance camera inside the store included video of man inside the store at the same time the incident occurred and emphasized the man was considered a person of interest and not a suspect. “This person was seen on surveillance around that time,” the chief said, adding if you can identify the man you should contact Det. Kirk Whitefield at 453-4345. Sabrina Garrett may be contacted at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . |
