|Hall named new Managing Editor at Gallatin, Hendersonville papers|

MainStreet Media announces that Patrick Hall, former staff writer at The Wilson Post, has been named as the new Managing Editor for The Gallatin News and The Hendersonville Standard.
A resident ofLebanon, Hall is a 2010 graduate of The College of Charleston inCharleston,S.C., where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History degree and minored in Creative Writing and Philosophy.
He was hired at The Post in August 2010, and while excited about the new opportunity, said he will miss the people ofWilsonCountyand the relationships developed with them as a reporter for the past two years.
“I spent most of my life growing up inLebanonandWilsonCounty, and as a reporter, I managed to get in touch with the community in a way I never had before,” Hall said. “I truly and wholeheartedly appreciate the local residents and elected officials whom I have interviewed and who worked with me to make my job easier.”
He added “I will miss the staff at The Post and cannot repay them for their role in my constant development as a reporter and the guidance provided as I move into this new position as an editor.”
“While we are happy for Patrick in accepting this new position, we are certainly going to miss him here at The Post,” said Jennifer Horton, editor. “He is an excellent writer and made many contributions to community journalism through the numerous articles he has written and photos he has taken for our newspaper. I think readers of theGallatinandHendersonvillenewspapers will be quite pleased with the work Patrick does.”
