District 46 State Rep. Mark Pody , R-Lebanon, said he felt humbled and grateful for the many supporters who came out for his unopposed campaign during the general election. “I’m indebted to them. I am looking forward to serving over the next two years,” he said.
Pody, who collected 12,715 votes, or 97.94 percent, was first elected in 2010 and has relished in his role as a community and state leader. He said in the upcoming years, he hopes to focus on how board commissioners are spending money “so they can be more accountable to the tax payers.”
He said that other issues will be dependent on the outcome of the Presidential Election. “If there is not a change, we will be focusing a lot more on healthcare issues, but if there is a change we will be focusing on other issues.”
