Janita Christian and Jan Trusty of Lebanon Vacuum & Sewing have worked since November of 2011 on a quilt to honor veterans.

Christian said that locals were invited to purchase blocks on the quilt to display the names of their loved ones who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces. Twenty spots are still available on the quilt for $50 per block.

The quilt is currently being showcased at the Wilson County Courthouse. Christian said that funds raised will be designated to one of Wilson County's programs for veterans.
