Ascend Federal Credit Union is building a new financial center in Mt. Juliet to be located at 300 Pleasant Grove Road, Suite 510. This facility will be Ascend’s sixteenth Middle Tennessee financial center and its first location in Wilson County.

“We are very excited to be bringing a higher level of convenience and service to our members in Wilson and surrounding counties,” Ascend President and CEO Caren Gabriel said.

Designed with the familiar Ascend brand featured in its other locations, the Mt. Juliet financial center will feature biometric identification in the safe deposit area, an Internet kiosk where members can register for Ascend’s free online account management tool called E-BRANCH, an area where children can play while their parents speak with a Member Service Representative, a refreshment area and media screens with the latest promotions.

Gabriel said the credit union hopes to be serving members from the new facility in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Founded in 1951 at Arnold Air Force Base, Ascend has grown into a full-service financial institution with more than $1.6 billion in assets. Three hundred fifty one Ascend employees serve 140,117 members from 15 Middle Tennessee locations.
