| One injured in early morning crash |

A single-vehicle accident early Wednesday morning resulted in a man being transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center by LifeFlight helicopter. “Preliminary information indicates it was a single-vehicle, single-occupant crash at 13000 Cainsville Road (State Highway 266) at approximately 12:25 a.m. this morning,” said Jennifer Donnals, communications director of the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security. She added that a report from the state trooper who worked the accident had not yet been filed. Cainsville Road was reportedly closed where the accident occurred for approximately three hours.
