The Wilson Division of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville with the help of Zaxby’s is sponsoring a special fundraising promotion to provide life-changing homeownership opportunities for two local families. Both Zaxby’s restaurants in Wilson County will donate 10 percent of all sales to Habitat from 4 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 5. The Mt. Juliet location is at 719 S. Mt. Juliet Rd., and the Lebanon location is at 638 S. Cumberland Street. The Wilson Division of Habitat will be building two homes this spring, one of which will be for a single mother with five children. Both builds will begin on May 31 with dedication ceremonies on June 22. One build is a Faith Build involving several congregations from across the county. The other is a Women Build sponsorship that gives women from the county the opportunity to participate directly in the construction process. Both sponsorships include financial contributions as well. To contribute or participate in either of these builds, contact Tory Tredway, Wilson Division director, at 453-4539.“We encourage you to make dinner plans for Zaxby’s on March 5. You’ll enjoy a great meal and support a worthy cause all at the same time,” Tredway said.
