LEBANON -- Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, in the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Clower, 77, of Lebanon.
A devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother and a member of First Baptist Church, Mrs. Clower died Sunday, March 15, 2009 following an extended illness. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 p.m. until service time.
Services will be conducted by Brother Don McElroy, Brother Leonard Diabold, Brother David Freeman and Brother Benji Thomas. Interment will be Wednesday afternoon, March 18 in Rockwood’s Oak Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include: husband Bob Clower; children Mike (Linda) Clower, Kris (Fulton) Johns, Tena Sherman and Jeff Clower; grandchildren Jennifer Gentry, Teri Jo Haaser, Linlee Allen, Tyler Skelton, Jordan Sherman, Elijah Clower Gunter, and India Clower; great-grandchildren Turner, Paden, Matthew, Morgan, Hannah, Aydan Lenne’, Ava McClain and Braden.
Mrs. Clower is preceded in death by parents Samual Wayland and Mima Sue Slemons and an infant brother.
Active pallbearers: Tony Ashley, Basil Skelton, Larry Squires, Steve Brown, T.A. Bryan and Joe Patton. Honorary pallbearers: The Seekers Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church, her Ladies Bridge Club, Nan Ashley, Mildred Carson and Pauline Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Gideons Memorial Bible Program.
Partlow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
