MT. JULIET -- Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 8 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Cantrell, 82, of Madison. A native of Alexandria and a graduate of Gordonsville High School, Mrs. Cantrell died Saturday, April 4, 2009.
A homemaker, she had worked as a seamstress for Turner Manufacturing and was an avid flower / vegetable gardener.
Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with Bro. David Royalty officiating
Survivors include children Alfred N. (Zelma) Cantrell, Jr. of Joelton, David (Kari) Cantrell of Knoxville and Sylvia (Evan) Carter of Madison.
Also surviving: siblings Jimmy Webster of Clinton Township, MI; Ruby Agnew of Hendersonville and Earlene Baker of Madison Heights, MI; grandchildren Kenneth Carter, Keith Carter, Justin Cantrell, Melissa Merritt, Kayci Cantrell and Reid Cantrell; great grandchildren Anna Merritt, Brooke Carter, Ella Merritt and Aiden Carter.
Mrs. Cantrell was the daughter of the late, Thomas B. and Bonnie Lee Grandstaff Webster. She was also preceded in death by her husband Alfred Cantrell in 2003.
Active pallbearers will be Ken Carter, Keith Carter, Justin Cantrell, Reid Cantrell, James Merritt and Alfred Dean Agnew. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Alive Hospice.
