WATERTOWN – Funeral services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, April 10 at the Hunter Funeral Home for Mrs. Buterbaugh, 92, formerly of Alexandria.
A native of Wilson County and a member of the Alexandria First Baptist Church, she died Wednesday, April 9, 2009 at the DeKalb Community Hospital in Smithville.
A 1937 graduate of Watertown High School, she was the daughter of the late William Luther and Rosa Amacher Jones. She was past president of the WMU and served as a Sunday School teacher.
The family will receive friends prior to the service. Services will be conducted by Rev. Curt Wagoner and Rev. Scott Bennett. Burial will follow at the Jones Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include: daughters Judy (Bob) Morgan of Jefferson City; Carol (Don) Hearn and Kay (Rick) Vantrease – all of Watertown. Also surviving are grandchildren Kelley (Ben) Broome, Bill (Jana) Morgan, Paul (Linda) Vantrease, Rob Hearn and John Vantrease; great grandchildren Meagan, Kierstein and Ashlyn Vantrease, Guy Morgan Broome, Maddie Morgan and Kitlin Vantrease.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Millard Paul Buterbaugh, granddaughter Dana Hearn and eight siblings.
Pallbearers: Bill Morgan, Paul Vantrease, Rob Hearn, John Vantrease, Bob Morgan, Don Hearn and Rick Vantrease.
