LEBANON -- Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Mr. George, 83, of Lebanon. Known as "Leek" to his friends and family, Mr. George May 18, 2009.

The family will be receiving friends Wednesday from 12 Noon until service. Services will be conducted by Brother Larry Locke. Interment follows in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include grandchildren Tracy (Keith) Beadle of Lebanon, Melissa George, and Tara (Andrew) Miranda; and great-grandchildren Ashley and Isabella Miranda.

He is preceded in death by wife Josie Proctor George, son Jimmy Edwin George, parents Joe Bennett and Ida Ward George, and brother Joe Bennett Jr.
