MT. JULIET – A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Mr. McGuire, 60, of Mt. Juliet. Mr. McGuire passed away May 31, 2009.

Visitation with the family will be Friday from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 pm. Services will be conducted by Rev. Joy Vorhees.

Survivors include: wife Liddia McGuire; mother Jessie McGuire; children Larry Brian (Amy) McGuire, Brent Ellis McGuire, Stephanie (Tom) Cavanagh, and Stephen (Shannon) Mistich.

Also surviving are siblings: Wallace (Geri) McGuire, Sherlie (Porter) Waller and Kathy Sue (David) Snowden; grandchildren Rylee McGuire, Christian Mistich, Andrew Cavanagh, Lauren Cavanagh and Isabella Mistich; uncle Comer McGuire; aunts Irene (Ernest) Deering and Frances McGuire; nieces and nephews, Brandi (Chris) Kennedy, Brandon Kemp, Kim Waller, Robin (Brian) Tunstal, and Marty Waller.

Mr. McGuire was preceded in death by father, Jesse McGuire.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation, Odyssey Hospice or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
