LEBANON – A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mrs. McPeak, 58, of Lebanon. Known to her family as "MiMi", she died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Summit Medical Center.

The daughter of the late Taylor and Peggy Greene, she was an avid bridge player, a wonderful seamstress and a classy lady. A member of the College Hills Church of Christ, she enjoyed shopping, fishing, cooking, and a good game of chance.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12 Noon until the service. Services will be conducted by Dr. Larry Locke.

Survivors include: her husband of 32 years Kenneth "Pete" McPeak; son Lance (Julie) McPeak of Chapel Hill, NC; and daughter Lindy (Mark) Taylor of Lebanon.

Also surviving are siblings Tim (Kay) Greene and Cindy Greene Riggan — both of Chapel Hill, NC; grandchildren Skyla Sno Smith and Macie Cameron McPeak; aunt Frances (Dick) Wells of Angier, NC; as well as several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by grandson Hawk Smith.
