MT. JULIET — Mr. Buntin, age 51, of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday, June 28, 2009.

Mr. Buntin was a self-employed painter for most of his lifetime. He enjoyed playing pool and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Buntin, parents C.V. Buntin and Margie Brown, daughters Kim Brown, Cindy (Jason) Krantz and Sally (Eric) Spear, brother Harold Buntin, sisters Ann Hodgkin, Joyce Hobdy, Wanda Braswell-Eden and Tammie Clark and 10 grandchildren.

Mr. Buntin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Essie Buntin and his brother, Gerald Buntin

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Harold Buntin and Phillip Brown officiating.

Graveside services with military honors will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Cross Plain Cemetery, Cross Plains. Active pallbearers will be James Buntin, David Buntin, Johnny Hobdy, Eric Walls, Tony Walls, and Michael Walls.

Visitation was held at Bond Memorial Chapel, N. Mt. Juliet Road and Weston Drive, Mt. Juliet.
