Retired from Hartmann Luggage Company and a an avid gardner, she passed away at the home of her daughter Saturday, July 11, 2009.

The daughter of the late Frank and Hallie Belle Judkins Mitchell, Mrs. Trusty was a Baptist and enjoyed fishing and cooking with her family.

Services were conducted by Brother Greg Moser. Interment was at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: daughters Jan (Ronny) Franklin, Donna Brack and Rita (Terry) Maxwell. Also surviving is sister Genell Walls; grandchildren Donald (Barbara) Barnes, Rhonda Morgan, Dawn Grisham, Troy (Charity) Franklin, Josh (Dana) Maxwell, Matt Maxwell; great grandchildren Dustin McCulloch, Amber Grisham, Luke McCulloch, Dylan McCulloch and Lindsey Grisham.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Henry Halton Trusty and brother John Ronald Mitchell.

Mrs. Trusty’s grandsons, sons-in-law and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
