NASHVILLE – Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 29 at the Woodbine Funeral Home, 5852 Nolensville Road, for Mr. Bowers, 46, of Mt. Juliet. An employee of Nashville Electric Service, he died July 25, 2009 while on his way to a Fly-In at Oshkosh, WI. He was an accomplished pilot, scuba and sky diver, Harley Davidson rider, cyclist, and an all-around avid outdoorsman. Services will be conducted by Pastor Sandy Shawhan. Interment will follow in the Nolensville Cemetery. Survivors include: his wife Viviane Bowers and daughter Carol. Also surviving are siblings Dru and Thomas Bowers and sister Deborah Brittain-Walter; niece Kiera Walter; nephews Jace Walter, Ian Brittain, Blake and Austin Bowers, and Reid and Alex Bowers. Mr. Bowers is preceded in death by his father and mother James Thomas and Dorothy Stephens Bowers, and his nephew Leif Alexander Brittain. Brothers and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
