LEBANON – Memorial services were conducted Thursday morning, July 30 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mrs. Clifton, 45, of Lafayette. A native of Wilson County, she died July 27, 2009 at her residence.

Mrs. Clifton was a homemaker and a Baptist in belief. Services were conducted by Brother Chuck Groover. Survivors include: children Dallas and Riley Clifton and the father of her children Danny Clifton — all of Lafayette.

Also surviving is mother and step-father Peggy Gray Smith Leath and Joe Leath of Lebanon; brother Richard H. (Aimee) Smith III of Lakeway, TX; nieces Lauren and Ashley Smith; grandparents, Richard Sr. and Annie Lou Smith of Hermitage.

She was preceded in death by her father Richard H. Smith Jr. and grandparents Robert and Eleanor Gray. Memorial contributions should be directed to the Riley Clifton Fund c/o Kelly Ferrell at First Freedom Bank.
