LEBANON – Funeral services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, August 8 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church for Mrs. Myres, 87, formerly of Lebanon. Retired from Clover Bottom Development Center where she worked as a nurses’ aid, Mrs. Myres died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009 at her Millersville residence A native of Wilson County, she was born April 29, 1922 to the later Will and Corrie Virginia Watson Bingham. Mrs. Myres was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Friday between the hours of 4-8 p.m. at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service at the church. Services will be conducted by Brother Bob Curtis. Interment at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Survivors include: son Donald (Fay) Sager of Millersville and grandson Tom Sager of Dallas, TX. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Myres is preceded in death by husband Jim Myres; grandson Brad Sager; siblings Mildred Cripps, Sophia Mosley, Grace Brown, Corrie Corley and Houston Bingham. Pallbearers: Raymond Lane Jr., Greg Hibdon, Larry Carter, Roy Martin, Tom Sager and Anthoy Hopkins. Honorary: J.S. Brown, Johnny Cripps, Jim and Jerry Brownlee.
