LEBANON -- Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, August 13 at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens for Mrs. Porter, 77, a native of Wilson County.

Retired from Western Electric (Nashville) and Little Rascals Clothing in Lebanon, Mrs. Porter died Sunday Aug. 9, 2009 in Melbourne, Fla.

She was a graduate of Lebanon High School and a member of the College Hills Church of Christ. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 12 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Services will be conducted by Dr. Larry Locke.

Survived by daughters Tishia (Terry) Igou and Telethia (Tom) Szuba; grandchildren Josh (Elisabeth) Igou, Joseph (Ginger) Igou, Ben (Leslie) Igou, Christopher Jewell, Sarah (Daniel) Julich, Theron Jewell, Jennifer Jewell, Tishia Jewell, Katie Szuba and Matt Szuba; great grandchildren Morgan, Cole, Jackson, Boyce and Mia Kate Igou, Olivia Julich and Cecily Julich; siblings Wallace Alsup, Thelma Manning, Claborne Alsup, Gail Evans and Herbert Alsup.

Mrs. Porter is preceded in death by her loving husband Garrett Porter; siblings Wilbur Alsup, Margaret Pass and Clyde Alsup.

Active pallbearers: Josh Igou, Joe Igou, Ben Igou, Christopher Jewell, Theron Jewell and Charles Pass. Partlow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
