OLD HICKORY -- Funeral services were conducted Monday morning, August 24 at the Hermitage Funeral Home for Mrs. Pond, 65, of Mt. Juliet. She died Aug. 21, 2009.

Services were conducted by Rev. Russ Stephens. Interment followed at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: children Doug Pond, Vallerie (Doug) Manning; grandson Daniel Jenkins; granddaughter Amberly Stewart; great-grandchildren Katelyn, Ashton, Hannah; brother Morris (Donna) Pate; devoted friends Traci Gentry, Jeffrey and Hanna.

Mrs. Pond was preceded in death by husband, James Pond. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

Hermitage Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
