MT. JULIET -- A Celebration of Life visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Friendship Community Church for Mr. Boyd, 60, of Lebanon. He passed away August 27, 2009.

Interment is 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4 at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville.

Survivors include children: Bill (Robbie) Boyd Jr., Judy (John) Jennings, Brandi (David) Noble and William "Casey" Ashley Boyd. Also surviving is sister Francis Mitchell; step-brother James Johnson; companion Margaret Johnson; step-father Robert Johnson; 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by parents William and Ora Johnson Boyd.

Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.
