Mr. John Richard White, 71, of Lebanon died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 at the University Medical Center. He was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church and retired from Campbell-Hausfeld.

The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 7 between the hours of 2-8 p.m. at the Partlow Funeral Chapel. A Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m.

A funeral mass will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at the St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Michael O’Bryan will officiate the services. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents, John Leo and Verge Esther Peterson White; son Mark Patrick White; his wife’s parents Lester C. and Genevieve Schade; step-father Clem Alig.

Survivors include: his wife of 50 years, Linda White; son John (Eve) White of Lebanon; daughters Jenni (Brian) Jones of Virginia, Lisa White of Mt. Juliet and Jolie (Tony) Britt of Lebanon; grandchildren Emily Jones, Heather Jones, Nicole Jones, Alex Britt, Mark Britt, Evan Britt, Aiden Britt, Veronica White, Logan White and Gigi White; brother Jay (Bobbi) White of Arkansas; sisters Margaret (Clarence) Groff of South Carolina and Kathy (Jack) Smith of Nebraska; step-sister Jean (Dale) Anderson; step-brother, Jerry Alig.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Mark P. White Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Cumberland University, 1 Cumberland Place, Lebanon. 37087.
