Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21 at Lebanon's Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mrs. Young, 84, of Mt. Juliet. A native of Wilson County and the daughter of the late Thomas Isaac Holland and Winnie Myrtle Draper Holland, she died Sept. 18, 2012, at her home.

Mrs. Young was a graduate of Mt. Juliet High School and a member of the Beckwith Church of Christ. She retired from Texas Boot with 38 years of service.

The family will receive friends Thursday 2-8 p.m. and Friday after 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Services will be conducted by Eld. Danny Tomlinson and Mike Vaughn. Interment will be in the Leeville Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Robert Young; brother George “Buck” Holland.

She is survived by children Jean Dickinson Brown of Mt. Juliet, William Jerry (Kathy) Young of Franklin, Danny Thomas (Joann) Young of Norene and Tony (Jeanette) Young of Mt. Juliet.

Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as active Pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers: Tommy and Scotty Holland along with Dr. Roger McKinney.
