Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Mr. Burgess, 85, of Antioch. A U.S. Army veteran and an acclaimed animal trainer, he died Sept. 18, 2012.

Visitation with the family will be Friday from 4-8 pm and Saturday from 11 am until time of services.
Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
