WATERTOWN -- Funeral services are planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Hunter Funeral Home for Mrs. Smith, 85, of the Statesville Community. The former factory worker died Oct. 3, 2012 at Nashville's Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The family will receive friends between the hours of 1-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the funeral. Burial will be at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Watertown's Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
