Funeral services for Mr. Charles J. Sircy are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Eld. Kenneth Summers officiating.

Interment will follow at Hillsdale Cemetery in Macon County.  Visitation Friday 2-7 p.m. and Saturday after 9 a.m. Mr. Sircy, age 79 of Lebanon died Oct. 17, 2012 at Alive Hospice at Skyline Medical Center in Madison.

Born July 15, 1933, in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Luke and Alice Stubblefield Sircy.  He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a retired mechanic. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Gammons SIrcy; daughter, Barbara Reid; two brothers, Everett & James Sircy; and three sisters, Madaleen Sircy, Molene Sircy, and Gelamer McClanahan.

He is survived by daughter and son in law, Linda and David Eller of Hartsville; brothers, Paul (Shirley) Sircy of Lebanon; Frank (Inez) Sircy of Hartsville; sisters, Naomi (James) Watson of Gallatin, and Myrtle Lee Page of Lebanon; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and caregiver, Carolyn Hughes.
