Graveside services with military honors were held Saturday, Oct. 20 at Wilson County Memorial Gardens for retired US Air Force pilot Col. Manning, 80. Col. Manning died Oct. 17, 2012 at Adams Place in Murfreesboro.

A native of Wilson County, a 1950 graduate of Lebanon High and graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, he was a Vietnam veteran. He and his family lived in Warner Robins, Georgia for 29 years.

Lebanon's Partlow Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
