Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Nov. 4 at Immanuel Baptist Church for Mr. Gregory, 68, of Lebanon. Born June 19, 1944 in Michigan and a veteran of the U.S. Army, he died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at his home.

The son of the late Samuel and Gladys Kelley Gregory, Mr. Gregory was a sales representative for Colonial Bakeries and Meyers Bakeries. After retirement, he worked at Dillon Cabinet Shop. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Services were conducted by Pastor John Hunn and Bro. Carl Jones.  Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. 

Survivors include: his wife Betty Dillon Gregory; daughters Monta (Norman) Morgan of Fort Worth, TX; Rebecca (Brian) Welch of Smithfield, KY; Patricia (Richard) Janeway of Crossville; and Phyllis (Jason) Hobbs of Lebanon.

Also surviving are brothers Ronnie (Marcie) Gregory of San Angelo, TX; grandchildren Troy and Kim Morgan, Jonathan and Dyllan Janeway, Nathan and Jessica Welch, Ashley and Samantha Hobbs; great grandson Max Morgan.

Honorary pallbearers: Joe Ferrell, Butch Allen, Terry Hobbs, Tony Kelley, Ernest Kelley, Clint Matthews, James Ray Gregory and Terry Ashe. Active: Norman Morgan, Brian Welch, Richard Janeway, Jason Hobbs, Richard Dillon, Danny Dillon, and Bobby Byrd.

Memorials may be made to Sherry’s Run.
