OLD HICKORY -- Funeral services have been scheduled for 12 Noon Tuesday, Dec. 11 at the Hermitage Funeral Home for Mrs. McNeal, 83. Mother of Friendship Christian School coach and athletic director John McNeal, she died Dec. 6, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness.

The family will receive friends Monday between the hours fo 3-8 p.m. at the Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Services will be conducted by Brother Todd Elliott with burial a the Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: her husband of over 60 years John T. McNeal, Sr.; children Linda (Ron) Petty, Kay (Chris) Tobe, Terri (Kerry) Rice and John (Kathy) McNeal, Jr. Also surviving are brother Kenneth Tomlin and sister Carmen Mueller; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Mrs. McNeal is preceded in death by her parents Luther and Ona Snow Tomlin and brothers Ray, Jerry and Doug.

Her grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.

The family wishes to express sincere appreciation to Odyssey Hospice and especially to JoJo and Peggy for the professional care they provided for Mrs. McNeal.
