Mrs. Andrews, 91, of the Shop Springs Community, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at The Pavilion Health Care Center in Lebanon.

Daughter of the late Seldon and Lector Blythe McDowell, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Andrews; her sister Edith Andrews and a nephew, Kevin Wynne.

Vallie is survived by her daughter Janice Wilkerson and her husband Pete of Lebanon; grandson Curt (Leslie) Wilkerson of Dowelltown; great grandchildren Savannah Mae Wilkerson and Sirus James Wilson; sister Ruth (Leslie) Wynne of Winston-Salem, NC; neice Lee Ann Boston of Hendersonville; nephew Phil (Jane) Wynne of Winston-Salem, NC; great nephews Greg Wynne and Jeremy Ledford.

Graveside services were held Sunday afternoon, Dec. 9 at Wilson County Memorial Park with Rev. Kenneth Tramel officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Gideons’ International.

Watertown's Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
