Funeral services have been scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for U.S. Army veteran Stanley C. Ruth, 91, of Lebanon. Mr. Ruth served both in World War II and in the Korean Conflict. He died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Elmcroft.

Born in Cedars, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Linford and Elsie Craft Ruth.
Mr. Ruth worked many years in the transportation industry and was a member of the Church of the Epiphany in Lebanon.

The family will receive friends Friday between the hours of 5-7 p.m. and Saturday after 10 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Kira Schlesinger. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville. 

Survivors include: his wife of 60 years Dorothy Shelby Ruth; and a cousin, James Wood of Doylestown, PA.
