Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, Dec. 13 at Watertown's Hunter Funeral Home for Mr. Marlar, 62, of Alexandria. A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at his residence.

Interment with military honors was held at Jones Hill Cemetery.
Hunter Funeral Home, Watertown, was in charge of arrangements.
