Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, Jan. 15 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Davis, 91, of Lebanon. Mrs. Davis died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at her residence. She was a member of the Philadelphia Church of Christ and was retired from Hunters Point Golf Course where she worked as Pro Shop Manager between the years of 1966-1978. Preceded in death by her parents, Newt and Annie Williams, she was the widow of the late J.L. Davis. Mrs. Davis was also preceded in death by sisters Maggie Hobbs and Lena Breedlove; brother Charles Williams; niece Margaret Robertson; brothers-in-law Grover Breedlove, James Hobbs and Thoy Eubanks. Survivors include: sister Mary Eubanks; sister-in-law Jalene Williams; nieces and nephews Ronnie Hobbs, Tommy Eubanks, Orbie (Brenda) Eubanks, Billy (Sheila) Breedlove, Del (Walter) Lackey, Marie Eubanks, Sheila (Billy) Anderson and Tony (Gipsy) Williams; as well as numerous great nieces and great nephews; and special friends John and Janie Walker. Services were conducted by Bro. Tom Watson with burial at the Williams Cemetery. Active pallbearers included: Bill Nave, Orbie Eubanks, Tommy Eubanks, Walter Lackey, Billy Breedlove, Billy Anderson, Tony Williams and John Walker. Honorary: the congregation of Philadelphia Church of Christ and Dr. Robert Jantz’s office and staff. Arrangements were in the care of Partlow Funeral Chapel, Lebanon. |
