Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mrs. Richards, 84, of Lebanon. A homemaker and a volunteer at University Medical Center, she died Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at her home.

Born April 1, 1928, in Bowling Green, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Macy Dee Jaggers Lewis and was a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ.

The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday after 9 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo. Services will be conducted by Bro. Tim Parrish. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: children Janice (Larry) Rainey of Lebanon and Conrad B. (Pat) Richards of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Tracy (Phil) Parkerson of Lebanon; Alicia (Brad) Donnell and John S. (Monica) Richards -- all of Atlanta; great grandchildren Ashley Strickland, Carly Parkerson, and Austin Donnell; brother Millard (Ernestine) Lewis of Russellville, KY; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John S. Richards, and 13 siblings. Active pallbearers: Phil Parkerson, Larry McCown, John Richards, Larry Norton, Kai Grissim and Paul Stovall. Honorary: Danny Jones and Dennis Jones
