Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Lewis, 87, of Lebanon. Born Oct. 26, 1925 to the late Rayburn and Cleo Skeen Bellar, she died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs. Lewis was a member of Lebanon’s First United Methodist Church, and was a 1943 graduate of Lebanon High School.

She attended Cumberland University and was co-owner of Bellar Furniture Company -- where she worked for many years.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the funeral. Services will be conducted by Brother Bob Evans with interment at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include: children Sandra Lewis Farley and Richard R. (Deb) Lewis; sister Peggy (Bob) Evans; grandchildren Lewis (Brandi) Farley, Chris (Jessie) Lewis, Jennifer Lewis, Russell Lewis, Joy Lewis, and Bryant (Amanda) Wright; great grandchildren Breah, Colton, Christopher and Honey Lewis, Joah Brackett, Caitlin and Penelope Wright.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lewis is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years John R. Lewis; son and daughter-in-law, John C. “Jack” and Agnes Finchum Lewis. Her grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.

The family offers a special "thank you" to Dr. Kevin McKechnie M.D., the Pavilion staff, Dr. Jackson Wray M.D. and the third floor staff at Specialty Select Hospital.
